| Casey Peterson - Principal Elf "Candy" |
 |
Casey was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. She has had a passion for public speaking and performing since she was a child. Coming from a family of musicians, Casey started taking piano lessons from her aunt at the age of 5 and continued through high school. Casey got the ‘knack’ for speaking to large groups when in college (at Michigan State University), and became a public speaker— primarily speaking on dwarfism and diversity to many different schools and groups.
Over the years pubic speaking her desire to perform (and act) intensified, and she recently had her first major break in 2011 when she was cast as a munchkin in Disney’s “Oz: The Great and Powerful”, starring James Franco and Mila Kunis, and Michelle Williams, which will be released in 2013.
Casey is currently involved in organizing the local operations for the World Dwarf Games 2013 (the Olympics for little people) that will be taking place at her Alma Mater, Michigan State University next year. She is very excited in playing this important role, with becoming an advocate for dwarf sports, which allow little people to compete with others at their same level.
She is thrilled to be performing in THE HOLIDAY ICE SPECTACULAR, and is thankful in being able to play a part in bringing that magic & excitement to live audiences this season
